Delegate Phillips moved to amend the bill on page 2, section 30-1-23, line 25, after the word “jurisdiction” by striking the period, and inserting the following proviso:

“: Provided, That for the obtaining of professional or trade licensing in West Virginia, no expedited processing authorized by this section shall supersede, or be taken to supersede or nullify, any minimal period of licensed practice in good standing in another jurisdiction that is required in West Virginia for the granting of any waiver of requirements to sit for and pass any applicable qualification or competency examinations for such license to practice in West Virginia.”
